Coordinator, Unit for Disadvantaged and Disabled Students, Aksaray University

The Coordinator of the Unit for Disadvantaged and Disabled Students at Aksaray University is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and monitoring of unit operations; the coordination of tailored support provisions addressing the diverse needs of disadvantaged students and students with disabilities; and the facilitation of multi-stakeholder collaboration across relevant academic and administrative units.

Within the scope of the Coordinatorship, the office oversees and facilitates reasonable academic accommodations, universal accessibility initiatives, comprehensive student support services, consultative advising, peer note-taking and peer tutoring schemes, as well as institutional awareness and community engagement projects.

The Unit grounds its institutional framework in a rights-based, inclusive, accessible, and student-centered approach, committed to fostering the equitable, full, and effective participation of students in all aspects of university life.

Areas of Specialization:

Visual impairment, special education, assistive technologies, accessibility, and inclusive education.
